John Roberts, nominee...

Why don't these liberal senators quit hem-hawing around. They say they have a list of questions that they want to ask Judge Roberts. No. There's only ONE question that they are interested in: How do you stand on abortion?
That's it. Nothing else. Everything else is a smokescreen.

Go after the governors!

Bill O'Reilly, I am extremely glad that you are going after these governors who won't adopt the Jessica Lunsford law against sexual predators of children!
For a state governor to be inert on this issue makes no sense and tells you a ton about their priorities.
Who in their right mind would not see the absolute NECESSITY of protecting children from those who are committed to their abuse? Especially with all of the high-profile cases over the last couple of years! How can a governor want the blood or the stolen innocence and emotional rape of a child on their conscience?! Who are they trying to protect when they express no interest in a law that would give greater punishment to sexual predators? Certainly not the children! So, then it seems the logical conclusion that the predator is getting the most protection. Shame on you, governor! You know who you are.

Joseph Edward Duncan...murderer, pedophile

My comments in Duncan's blog:
Duncan, In the remote event that you do read these comments...God does NOT love you.
Psalms 5:5-6 says, "The arrogant cannot stand in your presence; you hate all who do wrong. You destroy those who tell lies; bloodthirsty and deceitful men the LORD abhors."
Psalms 11:5 says, "The LORD examines the righteous, but the wicked and those who love violence his soul hates."
These are just a couple of verses that show how God feels about you.
However, don't feel like the lone ranger, Duncan. There are at least 13 types of people that the Bible says that God hates. Not just the sin...but the person who commits the sin. The old worn out adage that says, "God loves the sinner but hates the sin" is erroneous. The people who say that need to read their Bibles a little more closely.
Does that mean God is evil because He hates? No...His is a holy hatred...he is repulsed by anything that is less than holy and pure. Not just you, Joseph E. Duncan. We ALL fall into one of the categories of people who God hates. But here's the good news. He didn't leave us there. He came to the world that He created, that turned its back on Him, that became repulsive to Him...took our sins on Himself and died in order to restore mankind back to Himself. This was an act of LOVE toward a human race that God had come to hate.
Romans 5:8 says, "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
"Commendeth" means to demonstrate or to exhibit. The word "toward" is a directional term. God exhibited, or is OFFERING, His love TOWARD us, Joseph, the very people He is repulsed by. His act of love, the crucifixion of Christ, is the ONLY expression of love that God has toward the sinner. Other than that, He has no affection for lost mankind. He can't. He's too holy...and we are too unholy.
So the only way that you can ever be WITH God is you have to be as holy AS God. The only way you can ever be as holy AS God is by accepting His offering of love, Jesus Christ. When you do, the Bible says that God will translate you from the kingdom of darkness...into the kingdom of His dear Son. When you do, the book of Romans says that the holiness of Jesus is imputed to YOUR account. Then you become as holy as God...not from your own "good" works...but from Jesus' holiness.
This may be contrary to everything you have been taught in Sunday School. Forget everything you've ever been taught and open the Bible up for yourself and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal truth to you. Man is so subject to error that his logic and reasoning will distort what Scriptures say. The Holy Spirit won't however.
John 14:26 - "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you."
John 15:26 - "But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me."
Just picture this in your mind: The sun shines upon the whole earth; its beams and its warmth. Yet some parts of the earth are still in shadows and darkness. God's love is being offered TOWARD the very people He hates. However, there are some who accept His offering of love...and there are some who REJECT it.
Those who reject it...remain in darkness.
